A cryptozoologist’s sticky notes

So, for this assignment, I thought it would be a good one to incorporate my character into. She live a full and interesting life.

The light green sticky note is her grocery list. Notice how the items on there on hiking and exercise-related items, except for perhaps coffee, but she has to get up early, so coffee is a necessity.

The blue sticky note has her “to do”. It’s actually based off of the character post I made for her. It mentions the cab, which in the narrative you don’t see her call but arrives at the end, her backpack, which she finishes packing, and the notes, which she was reviewing in the narrative when Thiago called.

The purple sticky note has future trip ideas, all of trips to go try and find more cryptids. I put some US cryptids on there, as she is American, as well as international cryptids, as she travels and meets up with other cryptozoologists abroad.

The orange sticky note has various deadlines on it. “Sub” is when she is a substistute professor for a day. The deadlines show her full, varied life, with “sub” and “lecture” her part-time academic work, “article” and “meeting” her travel writing job, and “trip” her cryptozoological career. “Rent” is explanatory!

Finally, the dark green sticky note actually has a quote on it. The quote is: “We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.” This is a quite that she likes, so it is up there. Not all of the words are shown, to try and give the illusion of that note being under the other one.

This assignment wasn’t too hard to do. The creation of the various lists and quotes on the sticky notes was easy to think up. However, I downloaded Paint.net to do this, and as it was the first time I ever used this program, I did struggle a bit with it, especially resizing the picture to get it larger. I do think this assignment helped me understand my character a bit more.
